Fanon

🌟Ahkmenrah enjoys coffee.
It is unknown exactly where this appreciation came from, but is likely inspired by the 2010 series "Coffee For Fresh Eyes". This is further seen in works by zzoupz and EwokRae22's "Any Weather" series.
🌟Octavius speaks Latin.
While this idea goes back to nearly the beginning, showing up in fics as early as 2009, apparently Coogan himself considered speaking Latin exclusively for the role. This was confirmed in the Stars in the House episode.
🌟Ahkmenrah is considered an "honorary Daley". He acts as an older brother figure to Nick as he grows up.
While this is not a recent piece of fanon, the earliest example seen is the fic "PS4-Ever Young", written in Era 3.
🌟Ahkmenrah was murdered by Kahmunrah, specifically by being stabbed 73 times in his sleep.
While the "murdered in his sleep" part is held up by the NATM 2 original script, the "stabbed 73 times" number is unconfirmed. It is likely mentioned in the original script for NATM 3, but is currently missing.
🌟Ahkmenrah has PTSD from his fifty year imprisonment.
This varies from author to author, but can include claustrophobia, a fear of the dark, feeling constricted by his wrappings, panic attacks at sunrise, alienation and a need to prove himself, and a fear of making mistakes.
🌟Cambridge was not a good experience for Ahkmenrah.
This also varies, but the abuse is often medical or physical. This piece of fanon shows up very rarely.

Known Memes

🌟Catgirl Octavius
In 2022, the artist @theegargoyle posted a photomanip of Octavius in cat ears and a maid dress. The artist continued to draw him in this outfit, establishing the meme of Catgirl Octavius. Artists @lemonwisp, @sliceocheese, and @moonshineshipper continued the meme. On occasion, he still pops up, sometimes with either bunny or dog Jedediah.

Known AUs, Timelines, and Settings

Alternate Universes, or AUs, take characters out of their setting and put them in new ones. Classics include Coffee Shop, High School, and Modern; though more exist. An Alternate Timeline is similar to an AU, but does not change the setting; rather, the events that happen while expanding upon the setting. In a nutshell, if you want to see the characters in new contexts, look for AUs. If you want to see the setting tell new stories, look for ATs.

Says it right on the tin: the characters are placed into a US high school environment. Sometimes the characters are students, other times teachers.

"Hourglass Fic"
One of the oldest fandom staples, an Hourglass Fic focuses on Jed's experience in the hourglass during NatM 2. Sometimes he gets out, sometimes he doesn't. ...Usually, he doesn't.

Levy Elementary
A setting invented by @thedoormann where the exhibits are all children in elementary school. All the character conflicts are reimagined as childhood fights and scenes. It's sugar-sweet and a breath of fresh air. Active from August 2015 to April 2016.
The Heavenverse
An alternate timeline for the three years between the events of SotT and the return of the tablet. In this case, Jed and Octavius die in Pompeii and undergo a spiritual journey. The character Psychopomp, the embodiment of death, is essential to this setting, as it is one that deals with death and rebirth. Originally written by HungryOnMain in late 2022.

The H.O.M.E.
The "Hall of Miniature Environments" is a key setting in the universe of Any Weather. In this case, the third floor of the AMNH has been converted into a large diorama hall, filled with thousands of miniatures by miniature artists from around New York. Canonically, it contains The Old West, Rome, The Age of Sail, Egypt, Prohibition New York, Mesopotamia, the Maya Civilization, The Great Wall of China, Greece, and the French Revolution. In later installments, the area has been expanded to include other dioramas, such as the Mexican Revolution.

Jedtavius (Jedediah/Octavius): This fandom's undeniable juggernaut. A good 80% of the fics made involve them being together in some form.

Tablet Guardians (Larry Daley/Ahkmenrah): Fairly popular during Era 1 and Era 2, but has lost popularity in Era 3.

Knightguard (Larry Daley/Lancelot): Inspired by the deleted scene where Lancelot kisses Larry's hand; and the same scene in one of the novels.

Capoleon (Al Capone/Napoleon Bonaparte): In what other fandom would you get this? Uncommon, but not rare.

Flyin' Aces (Larry Daley/Amelia Earhart): Popular during Era 1, but has waned.

Can o’ Beans (Jedediah/Lancelot): You are a firm believer in the inherent eroticism of cucking. The first fic was written for this pairing in 2024.

Courtly Love (Ahkmenrah/Lancelot): Mostly inspired by a fic where Lancelot pledges himself to Ahkmenrah during the three year period. A rare pair indeed.

Museum Dads (Larry Daley/Leslie McPhee): Also known as LarPhee. Boss-worker relationships are always fun.

Civil War Mannequins: The fact that half of them actively support slavery is outweighed by their comedy potential.

Military Blondes (Custer/Lancelot): Dumb, blonde, and survived boot camp. So rare, only one was available for NatM Week.

RebeccAmelia: Women that were written to be love interests for Larry Daley. Fuck that, they can make a better pair with one another!

Theories

The NATM TV Show Teased for years at this point, a rumor at best - until NATM 4. With the team being made up of mostly TV writers, animators, and voice actors, and the film being around 45 minutes (a standard for TV), it is very likely that NATM 4 is the pilot for the NATM TV show. The strongest evidence for this is the fact that, one year later, the film is still available to view on Disney+, implying that it was successful enough to be the pilot. Only time will tell if this is the case!
The Nick's Tales Timeline The timelines split at NATM 1. If the moon's light did recharge the Tablet's magic, the timeline goes to NATM 2, then the Nick's Tales books, then NATM 4. If it did not, the timeline goes to NATM 2, then 3, which ends the story.
The "Just Some Guy" Theory Octavius, instead of Augustus, is a citizen or even an actor playing the role of Augustus. Supported by the various discrepancies in his history.

Evidence

Octavius's armor is based on that of the Flavian dynasty, and the Rome seen in the films has the Colosseum, which was built during the rule of Trajan.

Octavius claims to be trained by the Praetorian Guard, which existed from CE 27 to CE 312. Augustus created the Praetorian guard, and did not train in it.

In the Italian dub of NATM 2, Octavius is heavily implied to be an actor, even referencing his work at Cinecittà, an Italian film studio.

The Fucking Liar Theory Octavius, regardless of his role as Augustus, is a fucking liar.

Evidence

Octavius claimed to be at the Battle of Carthage in NATM 4, but this is impossible regarding his placement in the Roman Empire. The Battle of Carthage was during the Republic. It is likely that he said this just to make Nick feel better.

According to the Borders Exclusive flash cards, Octavius is Gaius Octavius Caesar Augustus, Rome's first emperor. If this is true, then he is a liar about his time at Carthage.

The J.S.S. Theory Jedediah is Jedediah Strong Smith, a cartographer and mountain man who mapped the American West. Smith was not a cowboy, or even a Westerner; but was from New York.

Evidence

Jedediah's Western role is teased to be an act in NATM 4 with the "cowboy-ish" line. In the English dub, he references a polecat, despite not knowing what it is. In Latin American Spanish, he says "this place is dirtier than my pants after a rodeo", and immediately after claims to not know what a rodeo is. This adds weight to the theory, since J.S.S. died in 1831, and rodeos as a sport didn't get popular until the 1860s.

In the junior novel for NATM 1 and some promotional material, Jed is referred to as Jed Smith and Jedediah Strong Smith.

Jed, Destroyer of Worlds Jedediah is a world-ending entity capable of making this reality cease to be at a moment's notice. He doesn't, though, simply because it would make Octavius upset. And he'd lose access to nougats.

Evidence

Jedediah's voice actor in the Japanese dubs has and continues to be Toshiyuki Morikawa. Morikawa is best known for his villainous roles, including Sephiroth (Final Fantasy VII and Kingdom Hearts), Griffith (Berserk 1997), Yoshikage Kira (Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Part 4: Diamond is Unbreakable), Diavolo (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle, Eyes of Heaven), and Bondrewd (Made in Abyss).
