Hidden Treasures was an app created by 20th Century Fox and released alongside Secret of the Tomb. It was developed by Pocket Gems over a three month period.[1] The game was featured as one of the App Store's "best new games".[2] Most of what is known about this game was released by the game's art director, Megan Schlegel.
This game was considered lost until 2025, when multiple translations were located by SlightlyArtist. It is yet to be emulated and played since its rediscovery.
Some gameplay is archived in screenshots and videos, and there are many original characters exclusive to this game, including a Snow Maiden, Merlin of Camelot, and Karim.
Plot
The game is set in a fictional museum that's a cross between the AMNH, Smithsonian, and British Museums, featuring levels based on exhibits from all three movies of the LAT. The protagonist is a new night guard at this museum being mentored by Larry. At the beginning, you only have the front desk, but quickly unlock the Wild West and Age of the Dinosaurs. Tilly works at the Lost and Found desk, and by playing the game, you can turn items in to her desk to receive prizes.
Teddy is the first character to be unlocked, followed by Sacajawea, Octavius, Jedediah, an Einstein bobblehead, Attila, and an original character named Karim. Karim is one of Ahkmenrah's descendants, and eventually revealed to be the game's antagonist. He takes the exhibits hostage, and attempts to flee with the tablet's magic for himself.[4]

Known Levels
While 35 levels were made,[2] very few have survived to have their existence proven. Titles marked with * have been named by the Search.
| Image | Title | Information | Known Items |
|---|---|---|---|
| Front Desk | A view of the main entrance area, with the computer and globe in the foreground and Rexy in the background. Rexy is closer to the desk than in the films. | Keys, Leather Bag, Handcuff, Pen, Glasses, Magnifying Glass, Coffee Cup |
| Age of the Dinosaurs | Appears to be a Tyrannosaurus fossil on display in front of a backdrop of herbivores (Stegosaurus?), and surrounded by foliage. Used as part of the tutorial. | |
| The Wild West | A view of a settler's home somewhere in the American prairie. The yard is fenced in, and there is a horse hitched to the fence. This differs wildly from the films' West, which is set in the Mojave. | Bird |
| Terra Cotta Warriors | A scene of the tomb of Qin Shi Huang and his terracotta warriors. It is unknown if this is a diorama, a painting, or a larger exhibit. | Saddle, Boots, Rice, Bird Cage, Painted Mask, Silver Bowl |
| Xangliu* | A scene of the Xangliu in its temple. Schlegel referred to it as a "hydra".[2] | Dolls, Green Dragon Pin, Wax Seal, Hand Bells, Kite, Silk Scarf |
| Camelot | A scene of Camelot, including Excalibur in its stone and King Arthur's throne. | Breastplate, Brazier, Book, Torch, Rabbit, Chair |
| Planetarium Entrance, T-Rex | Unknown | Unknown |
| Moon Landing Exhibit, Secret Door, Four Other Levels (Illegible) | Unknown | Unknown |
